DVR systems can be broken down into 5 levels
- VALUE: our Value Class is a
Professional Grade Entry Level unit for those requiring the basic needs of a
security recorder that offers simple easy to use on-screen operating menus and
easy UBS backup. These offer quick set up, networkable (for remote viewing),
motion detection and may have up to 1 channel of audio. Limited to 1
hard drive slot. Ideal for home and small business use.
- ECONOMY: our Economy Class of
Professional Grade DVR's. Same features as Value Class with added options
such email notifications, Blackberry® or Windows® based cell phone access,
user defined setting for remote access and camera adjustments, up to 4
channels of audio, remote PTZ access, Client Software included, IE Browser
Access; limited to up to 2 hard drive slots per unit (see DVR spec sheets for
details). Ideal for home and business use.
- COMMERCIAL: our Commercial Class of
Professional Grade DVR's. Same features as Economy Class with additional
functions and features: up to 16 channels of audio, up to 4 hard drive slots
per unit for greater storage ability, multiple USB ports for mouse support and
back up, multiple email notification set up & multi-user remote log in,
optional DVDRW for back up (additional cost will apply), S.M.A.R.T.
Technology, real time operation, our Hikvision Line of DVR's offer an embedded MCU which
combines the features of a digital video recorder (DVR) & digital video server
(DVS) that can be used as a standalone video surveillance product, as well as
to build a powerful surveillance network (see DVR specs sheets for details). Ideal for business use.
- INDUSTRIAL: our Industrial Class of
Professional Grade DVR's. Same features as our Commercial Grade units but
packed with features for commercial applications such as independent video
encoding parameters, S.M.A.R.T. Technology, HDD file system (available on
Hikvision Industrial Class), up to 8 hard drive slots for greater hard drive
storage, optional DVDRW can be added for back up (additional cost will apply -
see DVR spec sheets for details). Ideal for business use.
- HYBRID: our Hybrid Class of Professional Grade DVR's. Same features as our Commercial Grade units with additional support for both Standard Analog & IP Cameras and/or Megapixel cameras. Ideal for business use.
